My love for the elderly started at a really young age due to my mother working at a nursing home. At one point, I was the youngest administrator in the State of Oklahoma. I grew up in the Grand Lake area and I started my career in nursing homes as a CNA in 2011 when I was in high school, and still hold a current CNA certification.
I gained experience as a CNA, CMA, Business Office Manager, Social Services Coordinator, & Staffing Coordinator in nursing homes over the next few years.
In 2016, I obtained a Bachelor of Science at UCO in Edmond, OK, and became a Long Term Care Administrator a year later.
I'm a mother to four children. Altruism and love is what drives my career in the nursing home community.
I was nominated, selected, and recognized at the state capital for The NextGen Under 30 winner in the health care category. I am a certified dementia practitioner and certified Alzheimer's disease and dementia care trainer. I take pride in being a nursing home administrator preceptor that trains other administrators for licensure.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Gerontology at KSU and I am very blessed to have received this educational gift from Quail Ridge Living Center’s board members.
Education is important to all of us at Quail Ridge & I’m so happy to say it is important to the owners as well.
